Alastor is a powerful overlord, and an ally to Charlie in her quest to use Hazbin Hotel to redeem sinners.

We know from both Vaggie in "Pilot" and later Mimzy in "Dad Beat Dad" that Alastor arrived into Hell with power never before seen in a Sinner. He would make Overlords disappear and broadcast their screams on his radio show. It is not yet clear what made Alastor so powerful. We learn in "Masquerade" and in "Dad Beat Dad" that Husk was an Overlord that Alastor chose to enslave rather than kill. Alastor does not seem to usually make deals for souls however.
In "Radio Killed the Video Star" it's established that there's a past with Vox where he was asked to join the Vees and declined.
Just before "Pilot" Alastor has been missing from Hell for seven years - and several Overlords noted his absence. The reason he has been gone is only vaguely referenced by Husk and then later in the song "Finale" where it seems like Alastor is on a leash of his own that he plans to escape.

ADAM

Alastor fights Adam in Season 1, Episode Seven "The Show Must Go On". Alastor is dismissive of Adam, and frustrated when he loses the fight. It's clear he views himself as superior to Adam in some way. There doesn't seem to be any history here other than what we see on screen, however Alastor clearly has heard of Adam previously based on his statement that Adam, of all people, should know what a mortal soul is capable of.
ANGEL DUST

Despite a massive fan ship, Angel Dust and Alastor have very little canon interaction. They don't seem interested in each other even in a negative way, and it's fairly safe to assume that canonically Alastor feels as negatively about Angel Dust as he does all men, while Angel Dust sees him as warmly as he does the other hotel guests. Angel Dust notably knew nothing of Alastor pre-hotel.
CHARLIE MORNINGSTAR

As the protagonist, Charlie's relationship with Alastor is one of the most important in the show. She meets him first in Pilot and it's obvious he's eager to help and charm her. What we don't know is precisely why. He helps with the hotel whenever he's called upon. Repairs, protection, decor, anything Charlie wants.
In "Dad Beat Dad" he expresses a fatherly affection for her - but this seems more about Lucifer than Charlie. It DOES expose, however, just how integral to her life Alastor has become. She can truly depend on him for anything.
In "Hello, Rosie!" he makes a deal. He'll tell her the secret of the angelic weapons in exchange for a favour where she harms no one. This is obviously set up for him to call in the favour. The lyrics of "Ready for This" between Rosie and Alastor also imply they have a vision for Charlie. Lucifer is a problem and Charlie already depends on Alastor and owes him a favour. Someone like that on the throne of Hell would be a very powerful ally indeed.
EGG BOIS

When Vaggie gives the Egg Bois to Alastor to dispose of, they immediately take to him as their new leader. He does protect the Egg Bois from upsetting Zestial, and quickly discovers that they can be useful little pawns to gather information. He doesn't appear to have any emotional attachment to them, threatening them to keep them quiet, but he seems above killing them since they can be used.
HUSK

There is a lot to unpack with Husk, a former Overlord whom Alastor enslaved. There is some kind of strange friendship here, with Husk worrying about Alastor when Mimzy is using him. However, unlike with Niffty, Alastor can be pushed to far and exhibit extreme abuse and aggression towards Husk. It's clear he doesn't view Husk as an equal or someone to be respected. He does find Husk entertaining, as long as Alastor remains the one with the upperhand.
LUCIFER MORNINGSTAR

Another pairing the fandom loves to ship with little canon basis. Alastor seems to loathe Lucifer on site, to the point of devoting a whole musical number to try and get a rise out of him. In "Hell's Greatest Dad" it is clear both that the song actually has nothing to do with Charlie AND that it would not have ended without Mimzy interrupting.
When he shakes Lucifer's cane, Alastor makes a point to wipe his hand off though he hasn't actually touched Lucifer. This shows an excessive disgust for the King of Hell on top of what he already feels for most men. The feeling is mutual, with Lucifer being one of the only members of the hotel disappointed that Alastor survived the final battle.
MIMZY

Mimzy is perhaps the character who knows Alastor best. While she only appears in "Dad Beat Dad" she and Alastor interact quite a bit. It is Mimzy who drops Alastor's lore and when she enters to hotel he greets her with an exceptionally warm hug.
I think it's fair to say that Alastor is very affectionate towards Mimzy. Husk may warn him that Mimzy is "using" him, but Alastor seems to enjoy being her protector. When he orders her to leave the hotel, he doesn't seem to take joy in it. Mimzy is surprised because this isn't like Alastor, so it's possible he's being constrained by his deal and forced to turn Mimzy away. He makes a point of not being able to "have that here" vs. just not wanting her company.
NIFFTY

Unlike Husk, we don't know if Alastor owns Niffty's soul. They seem to delight in each others company. Niffty feels entirely safe and accepted with Alastor, even crowning him the Roach King. Alastor is delighted by Niffty's strangeness and never shows any aggression or irritation towards her. This dynamic will likely be further explored.
ROSIE

There is clearly unexplored history between Alastor and Rosie. All of Cannibal Town seems to view Alastor favourably, and this is more his community than any other part of Hell. His interactions with Rosie are friendly, and it seems like she sometimes finds him people to make deals with. She's willing to put her people behind him and Charlie. The relationship feels almost familial.
SIR PENTIOUS

Sir Pentious starts the season viewing Alastor as some sort of rival, and Alastor seems to take pleasure in pretending he has no idea who Pentious is at all. It's nothing for Alastor to thrash Pentious in a fight, and at best he seems to view the other sinner as a mild annoyance. He's not bothered by Pentious's death and seems to not think of him very much at all.
SUSAN

Alastor spends much of his time in Cannibal Town and seems to be fond of the cannibals, Susan is an exception. He does not appreciate her opinion or how difficult she makes things. She seems to be an obstacle for him.
VAGGIE

Vaggie seems to be merely an obstacle for Alastor. Something to try and push and pull in order to get what he wants out of Charlie. He doesn't have many scenes with her, and when they do speak it's always in relation to Charlie. Based on "Pilot" Vaggie knows a lot about Alastor's past and strongly feels he cannot be trusted. She's upset to learn Charlie has made a deal with him, but her treatment of him at the hotel indicates that she doesn't view him as an active threat.
VOX

We first learn that Alastor and Vox have a connection in Season 1, Episode 2 "Radio Killed the Video Star". The first mention is Alastor assuring Niffty that the Vees are no one important. We then learn that Vox is furious to learn that Alastor has returned from his seven year absence.
The song "Stayed Gone" is a duet between Alastor and Vox that explores their mutual dislike for one another. While Vox attempts to dismiss Alastor, it's clear he's furious and desperate to have the upper hand. Alastor behaves in a much more casual manor but his final verse reveals he may be more invested in this rivalry than he lets on.
We see Vox watching Alastor again in "The Show Must Go On", celebrating when he loses to Adam. In "Finale" we hear him duet with Valentino thrilled that Alastor is missing. However, he also produces an old photo of Alastor that has a rip down the center, appearing that the other half was once Vox. Vivziepop has been quoted saying that Alastor and Vox's relationship is "complicated and sad" and it's likely we'll learn more in Season 2.
ZESTIAL

Zestial is an ancient Overlord, and someone Alastor is careful around. Alastor doesn't seem frightened, and has a friendly relationship with Zestial but there's a respect here that he shows very few other sinners. Zestial's power must be greater than Alastor's - at least while his wings are clipped. They have history, likely due to Overlord meetings.
